Hamilton-Fulton-Montgomery (HFM) BOCES
Academic Programs:
HFM-BOCES main campus is adjacent to Fulton-Montgomery Community College (FMCC), its educational partner for several programs and initiatives. This co-location of a BOCES and a community college is the only arrangement of this type in New York State. By co-locating both educational facilities in one location, HFM BOCES and FMCC have developed strong synergies in the field of workforce development and training.
HFM BOCES operates several workforce development and training programs that prepare high school students to enter the local workforce:
PTECH
HFM Pathways in Technology Early College High School:
PTECH is a six-year program that uses project-based learning and professional skills training to prepare students for college and the workplace.
Depending on their Pathway Cluster, students graduate with a degree from FMCC or SUNY Cobleskilll at no cost to families.

HFM Career & Technical Education Center:
offers students an avenue for career exploration and enrichment through practical learning applications. Juniors and seniors from HFM BOCES component school districts are eligible to attend.

HFM BOCES Adult Literacy Program:
This program provides skill development classes in reading, writing and math skills, High School Equivalency preparation, English as a Second Language, and Integrated English Literacy and Civics Education programs for adult learners.
Job training for English language learners helps students develop language skills that help them succeed on the job, and they develop essential computer and Internet skills needed in today’s workforce.
Students prepare for certification in IC3 Digital Literacy to ensure they are prepared to succeed in a technology-based world. At the same time, they improve conversation, reading and writing skills, along with civics education, to help them succeed in the workplace, increase interaction with their children’s schools and in their neighborhoods.
