The Fulton County Board of Supervisors is seeking cost proposals from professional consultants to prepare a new Development Strategy for the County.

A Request for Proposals (RFP) has been prepared that identifies the Scope of Work Fulton County desires the Consultant to undertake. Written proposals must be submitted by 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2024, to:

Fulton County prepared a Development Strategy in 2018.  The COVID-19 Pandemic changed many things from where/how people work to how businesses operate.  As such, Fulton County desires to have a new Development Strategy prepared.

The new Strategy will focus on three (3) primary components:

• Economic Development
• Tourism
• Housing

The Consultant will be asking to conduct workshops with key stakeholders to obtain public input on the County’s Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats.  Additional workshops will be conducted to discuss projects and initiatives in the three (3) main components that would build upon the County’s strengths and opportunities and address the County’s weaknesses and threats.  The Consultant will be charged with developing five (5) key recommendations for each of the three (3) main components and develop a matrix showing how these recommendations should be implemented in a 5-year plan.  The final Development Strategy will be presented in November 2024.
