The Fulton County Industrial Development Agency (FCIDA) plays a vital role in supporting the economic growth
outlined in the recently released "Building Fulton County's Future: Housing, Tourism & Economic Growth 2026-2030 Development Strategy." This comprehensive plan, developed by MRB Group, builds upon the successes of the 2018 "Vision 2026" strategy, recognizing the evolving needs of the County and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Economic Development
Building Demolition & Substation Supporting Tryon Technology Park:
The FCIDA will lead efforts to secure funding for the demolition of existing buildings and the advancement of a new substation to support the buildout of the Tryon Technology Park, a crucial step in attracting new businesses and creating jobs.
Housing:
Round-About Housing Hub:
The FCIDA will collaborate with the Fulton County Center for Regional Growth to promote the development of new housing on a 26-acre FCIDA-owned parcel in Crossroads Park in the City of Gloversville.
Tryon Residential Incubator Site:
The FCIDA will play a key role in preparing the Tryon Development Area for residential development by conducting market analysis, identifying infrastructure needs, and marketing the site to developers.
